Another annual tradition - bring a container and pair of pruners and join the fun! I’ll provide all the fresh greens which form the bulk of the arrangements: Noble Fir and locally sourced spruce and balsam, white pine, boxwood, golden cypress, and cedar, and talk about how to use these woody evergreens in the home landscape. Our accents will be branches and berries, including red twig dogwood, birch, and a variety of winterberry hollies from my gardens. Please make sure your container holds water. Baskets, sap buckets, pitchers, cachepots, vases and even ceramic casseroles will work, the choice is up to you (I’ve even used loaf pans). Your one of a kind creation will last into the holiday week and beyond. Feel free to repurpose decorative materials (faux or real) for the final touch. This is a small group workshop, bring a friend, and enjoy our classroom studio where you can make a mess (and not worry about cleanup).
